Straight to Albrecht Durer house, not open til 10am, but nice walk around old part of Nurnberg (Nuremberg) which is within walled area... looks as though was a moat as well... covering all bases. 2nd largest city in Bavaria after Munich.
Anyway Albrecht Durer house did not disappoint......Durer was a contemporary of Da Vinci in 1500's, born in Nurnberg and achieved success in his lifetime enabling him to buy this house. Of course it's not like the Cedars as the house has passed through many hands since, but was given a period refit in 1800s supposedly to Durer's time.
The pictures in the house are copies done in the years since his life, as the originals reside all over the world

Onwards to another car museum, this time in town Chemnitz, which was devoted to vehicles, cars, motorbikes and cycles made by companies in the Saxony region of Germany. This industry has obviously provided large amount of employment.

Onwards to bed for the night in Heidenau...... dum de dum dum.... previously east G and certainly has that feel.
